Hooray! Where you can find me besides LJ
I am now liz_marcs on JournalFen, thanks to System offering to rename people en masse if you leave a comment at the link. I suspect this offer is the result of a lot of people signing up with JournalFen due to LJ/6A going weird on us.
Yayness! Now I can crosspost without Semagic freezing up on me.
Aside from LJ (where I'm pre-paid until July 2008), you can find me at:
Hurrah! *wipes brow*
Yayness! Now I can crosspost without Semagic freezing up on me.
Aside from LJ (where I'm pre-paid until July 2008), you can find me at:
- liz_marcs at InsaneJournal. I'm planning to be more a lot active here than I have been in the past and I do plan to slowly make this my main journal.
- liz_marcs at GreatestJournal. This journal is mostly back-up for LJ and IJ in case both go down for whatever reason. I'm not planning to be too terribly active here.
- liz_marcs at JournalFen. This journal is primarily going to be to back up my fanfiction and other fanish posts. Not so much the rest of it.
Hurrah! *wipes brow*

I've had no problems customizing my entire layout over on IJ so that it matches my LJ exactly, either. Overall, I'm very pleased with IJ and my experience there. Also, Squeaky, who runs the joint, if very involved and has clearly stated that short of a court order or a DMCA takedown notice, he's staying hands-off on the content. Even in cases where legalities get involved, he won't delete the whole account, just request that you remove the offending post in question. So the ground rules are very clear there.
GreatestJournal runs on a much older code, which makes it far less attractive an option than it was when I first got the account two years ago. I don't see much by way of updating the code, and the options for customization are limited. Also, it's not entirely clear who/what runs the place and trying to get a response from any of the volunteers is questionable. That said, there's a smaller portion of people making a go of it there.
