Arrested Development/Kitchen Confidential pairing

This?

This slays me in a way that makes me giddy.

I've only managed to catch a few episodes of Arrested Development because FOX keeps doing the schedule cha-cha. They've decided to put it on Monday night (no chance of it competing with my beloeved TAR). Arrested Development leads in on Monday at 8 p.m. followed by Kitchen Confidential at 8:30 p.m. starting this fall.

*does jig*

YEAH BABY!

Bones is slated for Tuesday at 8 p.m. followed by House at 9 p.m. Now I admit, I don't watch House because, you know, TAR. TAR wins and will always win, just sayin'. Plus, I'm extremely picky about taping shows since I often wind up not watching them for months. The way I figure it, at that rate I might as well get the DVDs from Netflix. Still, I'm happy because Bones has the potential to lead in to TAR for me.

It's all good.

Here's the FOX schedule

I've been basically running ragged for the past few days due to a business trip. I know several people have tagged me on the books and movie meme, so I promise I'll get to it tomorrow.

This weekend, I'm tied up with finishng my [livejournal.com profile] audiography mix swap.

And finally, have I ever mentioned how much I adore writing Giles? No. Really. I do. I always make it a point to do a little salute to Giles in all my longer stories. Water is totally no different.

ETA: I just realized that Alyson Hannigan's show, How I Met Your Mother and Nicholas Brendon's show Kitchen Confidential are competing on Monday's at 8:30 p.m. AH's show wasn't thrilling me to begin with, so zero loss and zero temptation to switch over. And I like Neil Patrick Harris and I wasn't even tempted with AH's show.

I'm so happy about Mondays, although it means I'll be adding another night to my television watching. This year I was a strictly Tuesday and Wednesday watcher but now everything's all spread out!

Ah, the sacrifices I make to watch hot guys on television.

Thank god, I finally have shows to watch on Monday now. I get AD, KC, and 24 all in a row.

Actually, no I don't. : / What happens to AD/KC when 24 starts? They're moving House into that 8pm timeslot?

That, I have no idea. I think this is part of FOX's run through without repeats.

Fox's january schedule should be taken with a huge pinch of salt. Last year only tuesdays was actually right. Personally I think there testing House to see if it can stand on its own two feet, if it does then they'll move it to shore up monday nights, if not keep it paired with AI. Obviously Fox's schedule takes the positive stance. Kitchen confidential's pairing with Arested Development is prolly why it isnt on the january schedule. The reality though is that success will take it to full season, failure will see it cut short. Just like any other network (except the definition of success on fox is somewhat harder to attain)

Yay! I'm so excited. I love "Arrested Development". It's the perfect show to pair up with "Kitchen Confidential".

It sucks that "Kitchen Confidential" is up against AH's show. I think "Kitchen Confidential" looks much better, but CBS's Monday night line-up of silly middle class family sitcoms is pretty powerful. Maybe that'll end with "Everybody Loves Raymond" going off the air.

The people who set up the TV schedules suck. It seems like there is either nothing on or there are 2 or 3 good shows on at the same time. I just heard that "Veronica Mars" is being scheduled opposite "Lost" next year. Is UPN trying to kill the show? I don't watch VM, but I know a lot of people on my flist do. "Lost" is going to destroy it.

wedenesday at 9pm is actually upns best slot (airing after their only hit show). Lost gets lower ratings than house, and only marginally better than the amazing race, both of which veronica mars faced last year.

Yay! There is hope for some decent TV viewing. I'm glad Kitchen Confidential is on, and I will be watching Bones. :David Boreanaz, yumyum:
Now I only hope Fox treats these shows better than past ones.
