liz_marcs: Jeff and Annie in Trobed's bathroom during Remedial Chaos Theory (Big Bunny)

Holiday Goodness...

For people looking for it: Part 10 of Water Hold Me Down is here.

I keep meaning to direct people to Big Bunny, one of the most hilarious and strangely compelling flash Animation series I've ever seen. I saw it a few years ago and had no idea where it went. I finally found it again!

YAY!

I'm serious.

It's so...so...words fail. All I can say is:

  • One giant pink rabbit who isn't a huge fan of carrots

  • Three little kids, two of which desperately need brain transplants

  • Twisted stories complete with twisted object lesson that...really...the Easter one had me in stitches (Two words: zombie bluebird)

  • One line from the rabbit to the kids: "Be good. And remember: eat lots of gouda."

  • I think I see Anya's bunny-fear very clearly here.

You can see Big Bunny himself in my icon.

Heeeeeee! Go watch.

Have you ever seen Muffin Films? It's by Amy Winfrey, the same girl who did Big Bunny, and they're hilarious. My personal favorites are M and The Muffinless.

I'm a big fan of Bluebirds in Spring, myself.

Yeah, I came back to the comments to mention Making Fiends, and saw that you had already suggested it. D'oh. Beaten to the punch. =)

Amy Winfrey is a genius. On election day I was wandering around singing, "vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, unless you are a candied yam, cause candied yams can't vote."

And when my kids won't eat their vegetables, I torture them by singing the vegetable song from episode 3, which is still my alltime favorite.

:-)

It's been awhile since I've seen Muffin films. *WOW* There's a lot of episodes in that one, isn't there. Heh. I'm going to have to go through them all.

Have you had a chance to download Vendetta yet? You'll probably recognize a lot of the places in the film, they made it in Boston. Hell, you might *know* some of the guys who did it. =)

Big Bunny is great, but he really can't compare to Amy Winfrey's other series, Making Fiends, starring the blissfully clueless Charlotte and her arch-nemesis, the cruelly unusual Vendetta. Not to mention the Giant Cat!

Oh. My. God.

Feeling the Vendetta love over here. I peeked at a couple of eps from work and...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Vendetta love? there is no such thing. There is Charlotte love. But Vendetta is fiendish!!! That's why I want to be just like her.

BTW, the latest installment of Water Hold Me Down? Wow. Scary. Keep it going.

And happy thanksgiving.

Oh my...I don't suppose you've seen Roman Dirge's Lenore, the cute little dead girl? Slightly more gruesome but just as twisted, although not as bad as Happy Tree Friends. :)

There used to be Lenore short anims that you could watch for free but now you have to pay. Morons. Here's the homepage -http://www.spookyland.com/

Warning about the Happy Tree Friends, don't watch them after eating. Not even kidding. http://happytreefriends.atomfilms.com/index.html

Wow...

Did they ever show a 1970s British comedy series called The Goodies in the US? One episode had the heroes encountering the evil Big Bunny, an evil rabbit overlord from (I think) the moon that was invading Britain using mind control. Also had an episode called Kitten Kong. you may guess what it was about from the pictures...

As far as I know, I don't think the Goodies ever showed in the U.S.

But those pictures are too funy for words. *heh*

Glad you liked them

Kitten Kong is an all-time classic.

And worth picking up the DVD just for that.
