I've been bad about posting these, I know. I put that down to the vague depression I've been suffering for the past few years.

In any case, I got a runner-up award from the SunnyD Memorial Awards!

And how much sense does it make that the runner-up banner looks better than the one for winner?

I read “Monsters” when you first posted it, and recognized that it was a major departure from your usual approach. “Best Plot” was precisely the right category for it to be nominated, and the only surprise was that it didn’t make first place.
