I'm In!

Officially received word that I will be starting my new job at Awesome Company on Monday.

Because I'm starting under a contract, which will be converted to full staff within the next three months, the paperwork is varied, strange, and copious. There's a lot of printing out to be done.

On the downside, I feel like total crap. Late night last night, early morning this morning, plus the humid heat is conspiring against me. I only just now got my air conditioner installed and my bedroom is still cooling off, so no relief quite yet.

At some point I have to drag my laundry over to the laundry room, but I feel so crappy that I can barely move. Plus, the laundry room has no air conditioning, so that'll just make a bad situation worse.

Off to drink some Gatorade, because the water ain't cutting it.

We had a massive thunderstorm in NYC yesterday, and today it's cooler and much less humid. Is it better there today, too?
