Cackles with fannish glee!

Heee! Someone is watching True Blood on on HBO on Demand.

Twisted.

Sookie isn't quite as likeable as Buffy, and I'm sure I'd be perfectly fine if I didn't see gratuitous sex scenes featuring her brother every episode, but a grandma who welcomes a vampire to her daughters of the confederacy meeting? Love. So is the black dude, who's name I forget. If I ruled the world, he'd get his own spinoff.

So far, I much prefer the books to the show - Sookie Stackhouse is everything I loved about the Anne Rice books and pretty much nothing I didn't.

I haven't seen any eps yet, but I've read all the books but the last one and kind of adore them...

It's funny you mentioned this, because I just started watching it last night. I'm going to have to look into the books.

Yay for Sookie Stackhouse! And really, how can you not love a vampire named Bill?
