Signing off for a week...

My vacation timing could be better, what with the Remix assignments going out today.

I've already picked my target(s), and I'm already seeing complications.

On second thought, having a week to think about the shape of my Remix is probably the Worst. Thing. Ever.

Anyway, I'm off to pester some puffins in northern Maine, I've packed my passport (A passport! For Canada! I'm still trying to wrap my head around that...)

I'll bring back cute pictures.

Just curious -- do you need your passport to go to Canada, or just to return to the U.S.A.?

Maybe it's just me but pestering Puffins brings up bad images in my brain, the kind of images you can't unimagine.

It makes me think of Tom Lehrer songs, honestly. *grin*

*strikes up a sprightly showtune*

All the world seems in tune
On a spring afternoon,
When we're pestering puffins in the park.
Ev'ry Sunday you'll see
My sweetheart and me,
As we pester the puffins in the park.

Have fun. And for goodness sake, please be home the first week of August, so I get to see you.

Have fun!
A passport! For Canada! I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.
I've been hearing all sorts of radio ads reminding Canadians that we need a passport to get into the States..so it's only fair we return the favour, LOL. Still, it does seem strange and unneighbourly, doesn't it?

Heh, I totally forgot that you were off to Maine for a week. That does explain much. Have fun puffin-sighting! : )
