Do you know what would make Pride and Prejudice with Zombies even more awesome?

NINJAS!

There are NINJAS IN THE BOOK!

*ahem*

I will post no more spoilers.

See, someone had a certain book delivered to her at work. *nods happily*

Someone is looking at the cover right now.

I am barely keeping my squee sounds to myself.

I thought the description of the book indicated that Mr. Darcy is training the Miss Bennets to be ninjas to fight the zombies?

I saw it on sale at the Coop and mostly it made me feel a little peevish.

It doesn't specifically say so in the book description.

I rather got the impression that the ninjas belonged to Lady Catherine.

That's even better. :D

The ninjas belong to Lady Catherine? Oh man, this I've gotta read. Can I borrow it when you're done, can I huh?

Positively you can. :-)

You just know that if this is successful, a whole truckload of new books will come out.

I can see it now:

The Three Musketeers... and Zorro!
The Odyssey: Ulysses vs Dracula!
From the Earth to the Moon: A Werewolf Tale!
Great Expectations... of Blood!

And naturally, Ninjas beat Zombies. But are there pirates?

And I can't even think how the writing field is going to change when today's stuff goes into the public domain.

I've had the book in my grubby little paws for weeks, but I've been holding off on reading it until I finished at least one of the other books I was halfway through... and I finished Middlesex today!

Wait, you mean this wasn't an April Fool's Day joke? omg, that would be like Christmas.

After you've read it, please let us know if it was any good. A spoiler-free book review (the kind I wish they'd print in the newspaper book section) would be welcome.
