Top Ten for the Seven-Day Period Ending March 18, 2009

Oh, hey there!

I've been working 60-hour weeks. Two of them. In a row. My brain has sprung a leak.

So, what's new with you?

Anyway, I haven't done this in awhile. (What is she talking about? Posting? Music downloads? Could be anything, really.)

While I would love to get into the vast amount of amusement I'm getting by reading posters at TwOP pitch a fit as they throw the metaphorical toys out of their metaphorical prams over shipping spoilers for the final episode of Battlestar Galactica (and by-the-by...you've ordered your Caprica DVD, yes?), I think you'd rather musical downloads.

And, oh, yes. The complete Pushing Daisy tracks from Kristen Chenoweth and Ellen Greene is courtesy of some very, very kind person. Yay!

I'm shuttle thinking, aren't I? Yes. Indeed, I am. Like I said...my brain? Is leaking out of my ears.

And I'm faced with a half packed-up apartment because the painters are doing a massive fix-it-and-paint-it deal. George the Amazing Lovebird is at Boarding School for Birds because I fear the paint fumes.

Which is adding to my brain dead situation.

I did mention brain dead, right?

So, anyway, here's the week's playlist (late...waaaaay late), along with a nifty download for the set of tunes.

Wednesday Top 10 (March 18, 2009)

Download for this week's Top 10 (as well as previous weeks) can be found in my SendSpace Folder.

The management would be pleased if you comment when you download.

Shipping spoilers.

SHIPPING SPOILERS.

Is that you shaking your head over stupidity? Or asking for said shipping spoilers?

Me? I'm shaking my head.

Shaking my head and being kind of D: and yet (AND YET) being totally unsurprised.

I'm still all D: over the whole OMIGAWD TEH HOLE SERZ IZ RUIND NAOW! WAAAAH!

I mean, Buffy shipwars are a whole lot worse (even with the show off the air for almost 4 years) and a whole lot wankier, but this is positively mind-numbing because...really...shipping...

It's kind of like missing the whole fracking point, isn't it?

*hugs*

Hope you manage to have time for yourself. :)

Did you enjoy the Watchmen?

And I can't understand how people can get mad over shipping in BSG, everyone knows the series about Adama/Tigh/Galactica OT3. :D

I...haven't decided if I liked it or was bored by it. A...mix there I think. I'm coming down on the side that says it was too faithful to the the graphic novel on the surface, but seemed to miss the point of it.

And...yeah. Shipping spoilers. Everyone knows it's about Adama/Tigh/Galactica. And possibly Kara/Viper as a subplot.

I think pretty much any adaptation would miss the point, since the original probably has as many points as people who've read it. :D

But I liked it in itself. Wasn't particularly happy that some people took their kids to see it, much too violent, but pretty much as good as any adaptation could be.

Love the Jam! I pretty much wanted to be Paul Weller when I was growing up.

I'm sorry your brain is leaking. Hope George the Amazing Lovebird has a fun time at the Boarding School for Birds!
