Massive Mashup Post (with downloads)
Know what I love about mashups?
It's how they can make very familiar songs sound like something completely different.
Anyway, in the midst of organizing at least some of my MP3, I found myself getting completely caught up in a whole bunch of mashups I've downloaded over the past few years.
So, I decided to put together about 30 or so of the ones that completely struck me this time around in a nifty little Imeem playlist. Then I figured, hey, why don't I just put together a folder where you could download the tracks you like?
Here be the playlist:
Mash-Ups
And here is the Sendspace folder where you can download individual tracks.
Please note that some of the tracks may have NSFW language, but they're definitely a lot of fun and more than a few are dance-able and workout-able.
The management would appreciate comments if you choose to download anything.
Now, off to watch BSG...

I occasionally ping a few of the mash-up sites, but I've never seen that one.
I'm sure I'll be downloading like a mad woman fairly soon.

If you look above, someone recommended Bootiela as a good mash-up Website.
I have a few Websites of individual DJs: DJ Earworm and Party Ben.
That should get you started...

I particularly like the Batman/Beatles one.
Converted!

Mostly it's done for the person who does it, but the really good ones are a joy to find and share.

PS: DJ Erb's one is the best, followed by 'Weapon of Diggity'. That last one I'm picturing Chris Walken doing his routines (both his dancing from the original as well as his patented maniac killer with a touch of John Woo thrown in)
