You all rock!
Thanks for the recs guys! Some of them I knew but didn't remember. Some of them are new. Yay!
A small piece of bad news. One of my mother's relatives passed away. (Her family is getting hit very hard by the funeral industry this year). I barely know the woman, but my mom was close to her when they were kids. That means wake after work tonight and funeral stuff this weekend.
Needless to say, my Faith-Xander piece is going to be a couple of days late. (Apologies to people who are waiting.) As soon as my email is up (kicks Verizon) I'll email my apologies there. It'll be ready to go Monday the latest. There was one section I was planning to write tonight (aside from the recs) but obviously I won't get to it. :-(

Sorry about your mom's relative. Whether you're close with the deceased or not, the whole ordeal can take a lot out of you. I've been to 5 funerals in the past 2 months. While I understand the need for the whole drawn out Catholic Wake/Funeral/Awkward Reception w/cold cuts ritual, it's all so physically and emotionally exhausting.
*hugs you again*
