I need Faith-Xander recs. Serioiusly.

I just realized that almost all of the ones on my list are WiPs. Hell, I need help.

I need Web sites, completed fics, SOMETHING to tack at the end of my essay for [livejournal.com profile] ship_manifesto.

Nwhepcat's stuff I already have on the list, as I do LudditeRobot's, Lint's, and mine. All the others are WiPs.

The only Web site I have is Black and Blue Romance. Other than that, I'm stuck like a stuck thing.

F/X recs, eh? Here are a few but I haven't checked to see if someone has already listed these and I have *NEVER* posted anywhere before so bear with me if this is all futched up (heh).

Firstly, the "Defining Moments" series by Josh Rector, found on the Peace & Chaos archive (http://peace-and-chaos.bravepages.com/P&C.htm) It's bloody good.

The "Road to Redemption" series by Monet (found on FF.net) isn't too bad either.

How 'bout Ozmandayus' F/X stuff? I really liked "Survivor" & "Attraction". Can be found in his yahoo group and on his site, the Bunny Ranch, at http://www.slayernet.net/oz/index.htm

Most of Keith Wrestle's stuff is too bitter for me, but "She's Gone" is quite good, a story about Sunnydale if Buffy had been left dead and Faith sprung from prison to take over. As far as I know this one is still WIP (sorry). His other work, mainly a dark look at F/X, can be found on his new site : http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/mithras

Another good one is "Going on Faith" by BonnieD, also found on FF.net, it was supposed to be the start of a series but I think she must have dropped the idea. Still reads well as a standalone though.

From the FaithandherZeppo group, I think, I got a nice series of stories in the AU "New Start"-verse created by Christopher(?) It starts off F/X but he seemed to want to shift it toward B/X at some point. Another series that was never finished, but the three or four stories that do exist are good to read as they are and do a fair job of creating a friendly F/X relationship.

"Fire and Skin" by Godeater on FF.net is interesting, a shipper's answer to the question "What if Angel had gotten there too late to stop Faith from killing Xander?"

One of my all time faves is "Sanguinans", by Pulpgeek. I pulled it from the FaithandherZeppo yahoo group archives.

Another WIP, but so nice I thought I'd mention it anyway is "Souls, Slayers... and a Scythe???" by mkcrl120, found on FF.net and the XanderZone group, the sequel to "Explaining Africa".

"Slayers: Three of a Kind" by Tiberius on FF.net is okay, a tad strange but the F/X interaction works well.

Of course Dormant Magics and its sequels by Nwhepcat (That I found on the Buffy Fiction Archive - http://archive.shriftweb.org) make for a good read.

Icewing's "Divergent Destinies" series is great for F/X friendship with a view to moving things to the next level. It's still ongoing but any or all these stories are fun to spend some time with.

The Heritageverse by Sibling, an ensemble piece with a hefty dose of F/X thrown in. His site is down but it might also be found on FF.net. Just guessing about that.

"Trial" by M. Scott Eiland, found on FF.net and his yahoo group. Not F/X per se, but there are distinct overtones.

Siege has "Right Thing, Right Reasons, Wrong Place, Wrong Time" and has begun its sequel "Someday". I think these can be found on FF.net and at his site : http://users.quickfox.tk/~siege1975/Fiction/

The "Between Shadows" series by Scb047 was incredible but it was left on an annoying cliffhanger. It deals with the damage that misunderstandings and their own hangups cause between X & F in an AU universe a few years into the future. I think the stories are on FF.net but I pulled them from the Unseen archive at http://members.tripod.com/~Parabeast1761

An honorable mention for "Whisper of a Moment" by Alix Aadler, part of the Backstage series. I don't think Faith is mentioned once in the entire story but it deals with her and Xander's daughter, time travel, stripping and Ethan Rayne up to his usual tricks. I can't read this fic from the leading character's point of view without almost hearing Faith in my head.

"Job" by Koos van Winden, found on FF.net is readable.

Another Pulpgeek fic, "Half way Home" found on FF.net (I think).

"What If" by Flurblewig, taken from FF.net. A small fic about Faith's attitude toward Xander after the whole satanic-priest-poking-out-his-eye thingy.

"On Any Given Day" by Bastard Snow, at the XanderZone or FF.net(?), is short but good.

I think that should be enough to be getting on with. I hope this will help, that this post will work come to that. Well, fingers crossed, eh?
