And is it me? Or is the LJ's timing somewhat suspect?

It is NOT you. Especially considering:

1.) HP is the largest fandom directly effected by this

2.) Potterporn is the least like by and least justifiable to the mainstream, non fandom community at large.

LJ = MADE OF HUGE FAIL

Feel better soon, sweetie. Thanks to your input, I'm seriously considering changing from GJ to IJ for my backup and possible moving needs. :)
