Gimme back my friends' page LJ!

LJ is being dick-ish again.

The armed monkeys insist that the servers are "fine."

The fact that I can't load my friends' page at all says otherwise. And before you ask, yes, I've cleared the cache in hopes that it would fix it. Fuhgedaboutit!

I can navigate directly to a user, though. There's grumblings in some of my communities that people have been getting error messages all morning/all day (depending on where in the world you're located...)

Oh, look! When I go over to the support page to open a ticket, I can see that it appears I'm not the only one having trouble with LJ today. A whole bunch of people are getting errors sprung on them whenever they try to do anything from look at their own journal to post something.

AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

This is the third time LJ's apparently had "technical difficulties" on a massive scale in one single month.

LJ, when the servers are more robust over on JournalFen, I think that's a sign that you are made of fail!

I swear, the more dodgey LJ gets, the more ecstatic I am that I've planted my flag at InsaneJournal.

I had that happening earlier. Just got a blank screen and done written on the status bar. Part of me wants to say that they're planning an upgrade at the weekend so they could be doing some prepwork for it which affects it.

Guys on helpdesks don't always know or understand what the techies are doing in the background.

Yes, I was having that problem a couple of days ago, when it said basically that I had no friends! Then I went back later and it was suddenly working again.

I can read and comment just fine (obviously), but I haven't been getting any comment notifications in the past several days. That's sorta becoming normal, it's happening so often.

I'm getting a lot of "page does not exist please check what you typed" type errors, that go away on the second or fourth reload. But they are happening sometimes on non LJ pages too so I figured it was my satellite being screwy. It's LJ more often than other stuff though.

This is so wierd. I have had no problems at all. I wonder if the problems are in the northeast or if it's spotted around? You wouldn't think physical location would matter.

I've been some errors when I try loading my Friends' Page today, too. At the moment, it usually appears on the second or third try.

So far today, things are OK for me, but night before last, when I was editing the private post of the chapter for yesterday, LJ kept reinserting a bit of cached bad code that hashed the whole page after I edited it, until I figured up what it was going and started clean.

Julia, but of course it's fine, fine, just fine nothing's ever wrong with LJ!

Yeah. I'm having problems with my friends page coming up too. It just says something about a layered loop or a busy database or something. My friends page came up this time, but it's pretty hit or miss. I've also noticed it takes the page a long time to open after I sign on.
