Massive Distributed Denial of Service attack, probably through a botnet of zombie computers, according to both [livejournal.com profile] status and [livejournal.com profile] the_lj_herald.

I can recommend the Herald as the best one stop shop for all LJ news, very very good.

I'm also getting comment notifications abot three hours late on avarage, currently :-(
