Yes and no. All of the answers I've actually read on both left-wing and right-wing blogs, had directed at me in one form or another, or had said in one form another.

[BtW, I'm talking about both the "lefty" and "rightie" answers, even though they seem like extreme quotes on both sides.)

But, yeah. Scary as this sounds, the "rightie" choices are actually accurate quotes. Visit red State, Little Green Footballs, Instapundit, Captain Ed, and Confederate Yankee sometime. It'll curl. your. hair.

I think the British homosexuals thing is the result of the fapping over Daniel Craig=James Bond can have gays in it that I've seen. More than once MA has been brought up so....

Jokes are cool. I've just had the misfortune of running into the few who really do call it "flyover country" and making the assumption that everyone in the Midwest must be a Bible-thumper so I'm a bit wary when people start tossing around the regional slurs.

I didn't know about the Daniel Craig thing, other than he was prepared to do a full frontal for the enjoyment of both his female and male fans. Though I'm deeply confused of why Massachutts would be in connect with it. *shrugs* Though I'm not entirely sure that I even want to know how their brains drew the connection.

A while ago I dissociated my emotions from the Bush adminitration so successfully that I'm able to see it as a comedy of errors. If I hadn't, I would've spent the last several years like Lewis Black in full-on edge-of-rage-induced-stroke rant mode. All the time.
