The Xander post has gotten lots of attention. Thanks everyone for pointing to it!

The whole thing's definitely a keeper, if only for the great archery discussion between ludditerobot and koos73. I think I've learned more about archery in the past 24 hours than I ever did. Kudos guys! I'm totally digging it. And koos73, if I ever need tips on how to write an archery scene? I am soooooo calling you.

I used to teach archery at a Scout camp, one summer about nine years ago... so if you need additional archery help, I'll volunteer.

Well, my biggest problem is with the English terms. I'm Dutch and it's not something you look up in a dictionary.

Then you're in luck; I'm in California. As long as you can describe what you're talking about in everyday words, I can get you the archery terms. (I might even have my Archery Merit Badge book laying around somewhere still...)
