I'm so glad we've finally settled on a DarkXander plot, especially since I have 5 false starts already on hard drive.

Too bad the DarkXander story doesn't actually match any of the 5 false starts, but there you go.

Actually, I'm rather pleased. It'll be short-ish. It'll be simple. Not much mystery here. Good.

Explain to me, however, why on earth you think adding Spike into the mix is a fabulous idea?

Well, actually it is a fabulous idea considering how he's positioned in the story.

One little problem: I write Spike about as well as I write sex scenes. As in...not well at all.

I'm gonna need a Spike-picker.

Damn.

this is how I write spike I use the words 'telly', mention the queen, and than I throw in a scene where is his painting his nails. so basically it goes: Hi I am spike and I am british; watch me paing my nails while I watch passions on the telly- god save the queen.

Ok now if you want to write spike good than I suggest you don't follow my fules because my spike sucks.

My '1/3rd done' work has grown unreasonably. It's three times as long as anticipated, and *still* probably only 1/3rd done.
