Busy boggling over here. What gives someone the idea that all customers share their views? Well, my favourite bookshop owners probably expect all their customers to be gay-friendly pagans, given that it's a gay-run pagan shop, but I'm pretty sure they don't expect everyone to do what I do and bounce in excitedly babbling about the last con I went to or the fantasy novel I'm currently working on.
Sometimes I wonder if I should try writing about a straight hero in a conventional relationship, just as an exercise, then I see stuff like this and realise that the world desperately needs more queer heroes (and more heroes in inter-racial relationships, with queer friends that help them solve the mystery, just in case I ever find a plot for Susan and Taj).
Looks like the company is getting well slapped anyway.
