To Everyone Graduating College...Some Deep Thots

Congrats!

I have to go to a wedding tonight and it's Mother's Day tomorrow, so obviously I'll be away from the computer.

I loved doing a twisted take on the newspaper column Sunscreen, if only because the format was so defined and I had to figure out how to make my fannish take work. I've decided to do it again this year, although I have no flipping clue who I'm going to plug in.

In the meantime, I thought I'd just repoint to my efforts last year while I mull who I want to write for this year's version. (I'm seriously thinking of have George from Dead Like Me do it for the new Reapers, but I haven't decided.)

Until I get the new one up, follow the fake cut to:

( Deep Thoughts (On Protective Eye Wear) by Alexander L. Harris )

As always, if anyone else wants to play, dive on it. And please post a link to your efforts in comments to this post.

I still want to do Croaker from Glen Cook's Black Company...Which probably no one on my f-list would get. *head desk.*

Gosh, it's been so long since I read those ... I don't think I finished the series, actually. (One of those "life got in the way" combined with "the author's still writing it" things.)

Croaker was the POV character, wasn't he? I loved those books ... wish I could remember more than that. Well, and the twins. I think they were twins. Godlings, I think. And the quasi-Gothic atmosphere. I remember that, too.

Xander's Deep Thots - *still* 10 times better than any of the speeches at any of my graduations. And more realistic about life, too.

a bit OT

....say, you OK there? It sounds like NH and MA are nearly underwater....

Please do George? Because that would be high-larious.
