Now you've got me curious! Must go down to my friend's SciFi/Fantasy bookstore to check this out. I'm out of new reading material, and since some of the writers on my flist (HJ? you listening, m'lad?) are being rather slow with the WIPs I'm hooked on, I have to look for other sources.
Don't hurt HJ's typing finger. He's supposed to give us more fic.

The first book in the series is better, in my opinion, than the rest. It's been a few years since I read it though so things might be different for you.

We've been waiting for the third book 4-evah!

First book is awesome, second one is good, third one( The Captal's Tower) has been pending for OVER 7 YEARS due to Melanie Rawn's health problems and involvement in other projects. I check in with her website about every 6 months hoping against hope that one day there will be a completion of this story.
Anyway, it's a major delay-of-gratification situation, so read the first 2 books slowly!
