Sorry that I haven't gotten around to responding to everyone. First it was the LJ deathmatch last night. Tonight, I'm ready to drop. I'll tackle this weekend. Promise. :-)

An a good note, like all of you I'm getting nuffin' via email for comments (kicks server switch over) to either my own LJ or from comments I make on others.

However, musesfool hath pointed the way. There is a way to get your comments and it's, well, neat

2) Didn't you know about that? I feel bad for not telling you. It doesn't tell you when someone responds to your comment in someone else's post, but otherwise? Score.

But! If you scroll to the bottom (to the "comments you left" or whatever it's called section), you can then take those links to various comments you've left and find out if they've gotten responses. A little more work but still helpful, what with the context and all right there.
