Pimp: Because she wuvs me!

Sorry. Giggling my ass off. This is soooooo perfect.

*ahem*

[livejournal.com profile] sunnyd_lite has stepped in and filled my request for the BtVS/AtS Missing Stories Un-Ficathon held by [livejournal.com profile] soundingsea.

YES!

Awesome beginning!

*shiny, shiny, shiny*

Check out A New Job. Go. Go now and Feed Seymour!
FYI: This was my challenge request...

Ficathon in which your request wasn't written: Faith Fic-A-Thon

Missing ficathon request you requested, with all characters/pairings/requirements:

One to Two other characters you want[state whether romantic or not]: Xander (romantic or frienship) and Angel (friendship only)
Two other requests: Takes place three years after "Chosen" and two years after the end of "Angel the Series"; the three of them are working together to retrieve an object, which might require at least two of the trio to go "undercover"

Three things you don't want: NO CHARACTER BASHING!; no shipping Faith with Spike or Robin; no acting like jealous children on the part of any of the characters

Any comments/questions: Not interested in a primarily shipper story, although if you want to include a Faith/Xander romantic relationship, that's fine. I'd like Angel to be "friends only" with Faith. Please, no child-ish jealousness on the part of anyone (although if you have a Faith/Xander romance, a little treat "her right" growling from Angel would be just fine) and no character bashing (although characters snarking on each other would be awesome!) Just have fun. I'm actually pretty easy to please.

Meeep. Mea culpa?

I actually have about 4 pages written for that request...and my first totally gen fic real "plot" ever. I could email it to you tonight and see if it's something you'd want me to continue? No worries - my fault for dropping the ball on a "dropped ball fixing" fic-a-thon.

No worries. :-)

I seem to recall you were going through the computer blues right after I did and you deal with [livejournal.com profile] su_herald stuff on a regular basis. I am the poster child of "have taken too much on," so you have total sympathy from me.

[kicks the fact that every single WiP I've got on deck is a story that came from a fic-a-thon request under the bed and pretends not to see]

Actually, I'd love to see it. If you're having fun writing it, I say give it a shot and keep going, especially if it's something outside the realm of what you usually do. If it's something you're not enjoying writing, at least you can get out of jail free. :-)

Actually, you'd be surprised how rewarding the whole write outside the comfort zone thing can be. Ishmael Sings of the White Whale was sooooo outside the realm of what I usually write, and yet it's probably my second most-popular story. Cuckoo in the Nest is actually number one, and it's also waaaaay outside my usual style.

So, really no need to apologize to me at all. Like I said, I totally understand time just getting away from you.

I knew there were others taking a kick at this can...I'd love to see what you do with it!
