Ahhhh, thank you all for your suggestions about what would impress a God-King.

Needless to say, I'll be giving you all credit when I submit this to soundingsea for her Unfilled Fic-A-Thon. I volunteered as back-up because I didn't want to see her go crazy with the unfinished fics and I had a quick plot bunny. It didn't work out.

However, I'm stealing a page from nwhepcat and writing ten drabbles. Hell, if you're going to steal, steal from one of the best I say. Writing drabbles has turned out to be oddly soothing and a nice way to take a break from Water Hold Me Down.

And yeah, I kinda needed to take the short break. I had to trash the next two sections and re-write them because what I had written earlier didn't quite fit the way I needed them to. One section still has the same basic idea (has to; it solves one of the mysteries), but re-working the sections and editing is slow going because the earlier versions are stuck in my head.

Five drabbles down! Five more to go! I can do this!

Which still puts her a notch above the most of us, who aren't particularly renowned for any type of fanfic. I'm looking forward to seeing this experiment, but am I terribly wrong and selfish if I hope that she continues to be unable to turn out much at all under many many thousands of words?
