I mean, we're both doing this for the same reason: it's fun. God knows it's not because we're getting rich doing it.
I think the professional attitude comes in when you do take the trouble to make sure the spelling is good, the paragraphs are solid, the characterization/plot makes sense, and you go back and copyedit and revise.
The key sentence you have is here: ...the fun is in writing a good story, and that includes presentation.
