About the Salem Betwitched statue -- when I saw the picture of the statue in the Globe I was pretty appalled myself, I have to say. We visited the town several years ago (B.C., or Before Children) and although there's a lot of cheese-y tourist stuff there, there were some very serious and touching memorials to those killed. It's jarring to have the Betwitched statue juxtaposed to those.
