Faith and Xander bonding is always good. Can't remember if they ever really discussed the strangulation incident before. I know you made a big deal about him trusting her in Living History, but that would've been years of, if it happens at all!
Hmmm, from what I remember about Living History - I'd have to assume that the big 'I Trust You' comment that Catherine mentioned; isn't in fact the first time that Xander actually trusts Faith or even the first time he probably tells her he does. But it's the first time that Faith believes it.
Don't think he was right about Rupert sending her. Loved the little Tony slip and absolutely adored them going of together to kill stuff! Although Rupes will be pissed when he finds out he didn't spend the night under controlled circumstances.
Gotta agre, I don't think Faith's arrival had anything to do with Giles. More believeable that it's her own curiousity - she's seen the differences in this Xander and the one in her reality, and just seen the differences in how Xander treats/responds to the her in the other reality (and how the other her deals with him). And I think she was right to assume that the various stuff that happened between them might not have happened over there; so she goes to check some of the details.
Also loved the little Tony slip; so many fics have Xander viewing Giles as the father figure he wished he'd had. So when Giles slips into a more shitty version of himself, Xander automatically equates him to his real father.

PS: When Xander referred to Rupert as Tony; did anyone else think of Tony Head before realising it meant Xander's dad..? No..? Right, just me then. (Liz, if that mistake was something you were planning/hoping for, then congrats - it got me.)
