Every story needs a moral! Okay, it's a Reverse Aesop, but you gotta go with your strengths, right?

What's interesting is that in my planned ending, Faith and Xander actually get away with it, but Buffy kind of showed up out of nowhere at the end like Mighty Mouse and insisted on "saving" them.

I call the ending ambiguous, myself. It could ultimately wind up being a happy ending, but in the short run it's going to be a frickin' mess.
