One of my favourite parts of DS9 is the development of Jake and Nog over the seasons. I love their loyalty to each other and the way they encourage each other to be the people they really want to be. Sisko and Jake have perhaps the most realistic parent-child relationship on any of the Treks; it's a joy to watch.
