Excellent chapter! But you made me dislike Giles - and I usually adore Giles, so that's some powerful writing! I have a sinking feeling that if Alex is not brought back to Xanderhood before the spell is done, he'll be left as Alex. Yay for Spike being in his corner (and Buffy, too, although Alex is still afraid of her). Can't wait to find out what happens next!
