Liz, I've been lurking in your journal since some of your early essays about the LJ issue. I've come to enjoy reading your thoughts and opinions over the past couple of months. You're a very intelligent and well-spoken (written? *LOL*) lady who, whether I agree or not, makes sense and a good lively discussion.

All this to say... I am SO getting into your reviews of DS9! I watched it first-run as well as watching the rival Babylon 5 and loved them both for exactly what they were. Reading your review/summaries are a real treat and I have since moved the DS9 DVD collection much closer to the top of the I Must Buy list. Whereas I have a severe fond spot for many of the Next Gen episodes - and especially for one Jean Luc Picard - I think DS9 has been my all-around favorite of the Star Trek pantheon.

Thank you for taking the time to share this with us! I am truly enjoying and appreciating every one of them.
