I love Q. I even liked De Lancie the younger as Q's (and K'Ehleyr's) son. :) I also liked Vash. I liked the idea of there being human's in the 24th century who weren't all clean cut and uninterested in their own personal wealth and wants. To me the thing that always annoys me about the human characters in ST is that, overwhelmingly, they're all so bloomin' GOOD. (Not that Vash wasn't good, she was just differently good o_O)
