It's bad customer service to treat your customers like criminals, to contradict your own policies, TOS, and FAQ with your actions, and to lie to your own customers.

And sure, there's other places to go, but there's no way to perfectly duplicate the communities, friendships, and connections that we already have here at lj should we leave. Now I HAVE already let my paid account lapse, but I really, really, really, really, really do not want to be forced out of a place where I have friends, just because lj can't get their act together.
Everything lj is doing is perfectly legal, far as I can tell, but it's also perfectly idiotic, and perfectly annoying, and I really wish they would stop before they self-destruct, because when they're not being butts, I like it here, and am upset about being forced to move.
