I found this via matgb, and had to say I absolutely agree with this post. It sums up pretty much all of my feelings on the matter.

Unfortunately while the parts of fandom affected by this may well start jumping ship in large numbers, most networking sites will have similar TOS agreements. The difference lies in the fact that they aren't willing to exercise their full powers unless legally required to do so.
