I'm late commenting, but I'm new to this LJ thing and was looking around.
Just wanted to say I recently rewatched Battlestar Galactica (1978). I thought it was better than I remembered, but then I took it for what it was back then, a bunch of silliness. I'm sad to see people "grew up" and lost something.
I despise the "re-imagined" thing. Not funny. Dysfunctional characters. Bad, preachy writing. Plotlines that go nowhere. Misogyny galore. The cult of Gaius? Cylons who quote "All Alone the Watchtower"?
Oh, wait, it IS funny, in an unintentional sort of way.
