Thank you for the great feedback! :-)

Sorry about the tardiness of my reply, but I've been iffy about being online for a few days (rivers to kayak and all that...).

First, thank you for taking a chance on this story. I know Sam isn't always a fave with people and Sam/Kara tends to, as a ship, get short-shrift in favor of Lee/Kara, so I always appreciate it when people do read this story. (I'm agnostic on shipping, although I have great love for the Fighting Agathons as a couple...I tend to like individual characters and I do have a fondness for Sam.)

This story I admit was a toughie to write, mostly because it was part of the Remix Fic-A-Thon, so I had an original story I had to pull off of (Tesselation, which is an excellent story itself as told from Kara's perspective of her captivity).

In all seriousness, canon totally saved my butt here. This story was written as Season 3 was winding down, so when I started it, the Season 3 finale hadn't even aired yet. Instead it was just Sam running around trying to find Kara. I was in the middle of writing it, when the Dylan 4 were revealed a few weeks before the fic-a-thon due date and...it totally saved the story. Yayness!

So the whole "Cylon Civil War" aspect...I thought sure they were going to pick that up in Season 4.0 and I'm sad they didn't. I suspect that if they had a fifth season guaranteed, they might've done it. But as it stands right now, they're busy trying to tie up all their loose ends.

If you're interested in reading how I put this together and tried to capture the original, I wrote my traditional remix meta here.

And thank you again for stopping by and reading!
