Fangfetish Awards

Congrats to people on my FList who won, their own shiny plaques. :-)

Here's the winners.

To my surprise, I also made the nominee list and won runner-up in one category (Best Gen and Other Pairings in the Xander Corner) and made the judges' choice list.

Truthfully, I never thought I had a chance in hell for ever being nominated for this particular award, let alone actually win anything, so I'm pleased as punch that Cuckoo in the Nest received recognition.

A big thank you to [livejournal.com profile] athenewolfe and the the judges. I'll get a properly formatted story to you for the archive later this week.

Well done. “Cuckoo in the Nest” wasn’t an especially pleasant story, but it was effective and memorable. (I read both versions, your original and the one wherein you included commentary.) It deserved recognition.

It was a very interesting read. Congrats on your win, you definitely deserve praise for this.

Actually, I used this as inspiration to update Xander's stats in the Buffy tabletop RPG I want to run one of these days. ^_^

Hi honey, sorry to post here, but I don't seem to have a direct email address for you. It was lovely to see you yesterday, and I look forward to the Great Music Exchange of '07 next weekend (weather permitting, naturally). In the meantime, I went poking around through old journals. The official name of the Rat was the Rathseller. Besides HSR, I seem to have seen the Dead Kennedys and Mink deVille there, but neither of those are really Boston bands (DKs are deeply San Francisco, and Mink deVille is really a NY band). DMZ did a live album there, but I've never been a fan of theirs. At some point a Live at the Rat double CD was issued, but that's one of the things which was stolen when my house was burglarized, and I've never been able to find another copy. I'm guessing if you google +Rathskellar +Boston +Music you'll find some fun stuff.
