At first it seems as if he’s genuinly cocerned for Xander’s stability, which turns out to be, unsurprizingly, bull. That was very in character, kuddos to ya cause you almost had me believing Spike was into it for no personal gain but he was all bout how Xander being ok would help them.
I likd the banter, and how the mood never really picked up in spite of it.
There’s something I’m not getting from Faith though, as if she’s not her usual self, almost subdued maybe? [that the word?], but I think that after obsessivly reading through almost all of your Faith work I know you do an awesome Faith voice so it must be on purpose. Why though? Your fics always make me think, I don’t particularly like that today, just lazy I guess.
I just thought of maybe another reason for Willow to have ensoulled Xander. Maybe she was trying to repay him for what he did for her, back when, on Kingman’s Bluff? He pulled her out of darkness, in a way, so maybe she’d wanna do the same for him, as long as there was a chance. Of course you know why but I think it’d be kinda neat if I could, for once, know too before you actually reveal it.
Ah… so many prejudices huh? Good vampire, bad vampire, chipped vampired, ex-vampire, with-a-soul-vampire… you sure have a wild thing going on there with your bloodsucking people.
I really dislike this Martin dude.
Ooh! “Not Dust Thyself” orders, it just keeps getting better doesn’t it? And I’m guessing that sex ain’t such a big deal either, if the talk bout post-battle moods was any indication. And new eye! I really wanna get into Will’s head, by the way. Would love to see her mind frame in this ‘verse.
I think the show had a lot of potential uses for the Jesse death, but it was like totally underused. Yay for fic, where people explore this further cause you just know that that oughta have been one of the hardest nights of his life, and that’s saying something.
Crypts maybe remind Xander of basements? And he doesn’t exactly love basements does he? And closets being too highschool? Well he should know!
OK, Xander and Jesse-like boy? Kinda freaky. Ok, very very freaky. And deranged, at least.
And yeah, I know after what he did, almost offing the guy, I should think he’s so far gone it ain’t even funny, soul or no soul right? But no. I kinda felt sorry for the guy, and that’s a very twisted thing so congrats Liz!
