Another excellent part, and another not-quite-cliffhanger, but I want to read more. I can live with bastardsnow's most dastardly cliffhangers better than with this... gaa. Thingie. I do like Eva, even if she has her head in her ass sometimes, and I like Ally, even though she wasn't present in this chapter.

Oh, and Eva? I think she's either falling for Xander (not in the story's, but in the storyteller's time) or at least still putting him on a pedestal. Which is funny.
