I love Giles just slightly in Ripper mode with Tony. I think he probably asked to be the one to deliver the folder. I always assumed that Xander's reasons for sending Giles ran more along the line that he wasn't going to give Tony and Jessica more reason to believe he was messing up their perfect escape by showing up on their doorstep again. Yes, the reasons are selfish but, with this being so near the wedding I saw it as one last duty to put paid his relationship with Tony and Jessica, the last piece of unfinished business.

I fall slightly in the too obvious it's Willow camp, but only slightly. I love her smiling at the younger versions of Xander and can well imagine she's extremely familiar with that bright, bright, bright smile. It's a nice circle that Willow, who Tony dismissed as nothing much, is the powerful adversary giving him the bill at the end.
