It has also something to do about the issue of half-truths and hiding vs. straight-out lies you had thm talk about in the previous chapter; I don't mind the first (like it even). But I do mind that you had Xander lie to her about the attack on Joe, as we only get her point of view, and you have now made all her discribed interactions unreliable. It makes me wonder which of the previous scenes were complete lies, if *anything* that she has heared was actually true or if it have all been lies; all her overheard conversations could have been setups, the whole new-watcher issue could all have been a conspiracy to distract her with a false theory.
