Thanks for the kind wishes for Houston and Galveston residents. I grew up in Houston. All of my family and friends are there. My best friend tried to leave--and couldn't. My parents are still on the road. I've been pretty much sick with worry all day.

Also, I've been trying to publicize that our home is open to people fleeing Rita--if they can actually make it to Austin.
